This app used to have some great deals. Those days are gone, apparently. But hey, at least the app is still a buggy, slow mess. The deals have been bad for months. The app has random crashes and doesn't like to launch until the second or third try usually, and that's been the case for years and over the course of at least two different phones for me. It's fine though. eating less McDonald's is for the best anyway.

Phil, we always try to update with new deals on the app, keep checking the app to never miss out on anything super. also, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to fix the issue. if it’s still not working, let us know here: https://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en-us/feedback.html

The app is good, but the rewards suck. A breakfast meal generates about 650 points. But just a free hash brown costs 1500 points. A breakfast sandwich is 6000 points. It'll cost over 10,000 points to get a free breakfast. That's about 15 stops to earn enough points. And, the redemption menu is very limited. Should be able to use reward points on the entire menu. App is a scam. Now they've raised the dollar amount required to use the 20-25% off coupons.

Offers have progressively diminished month-over-month, and the new "app exclusive deals" and "mcvalue menu" were always there in the first place, they're just being remarketed. Content aside, this app ALWAYS needs to be opened twice, no matter which device I use. The first open "crashes" back to the home screen, then opens normally the second time. There are better places (and app experiences) to get a quick bite.
